And here she is in her reception dress! I wore this as a baby so it has some sentimental value.
Daddy made these special cookies with Makena's picture on it for the luncheon. Yum yum!!!
Here are the dresses Makena wore:
The long one on the left is a 3rd generation dress that is 58 years old or so. My mom wore it when she was baptized and then my brother, sister and I all wore it when we were baptized. Let's hope it's still around for my grandchildren to wear it!
The short one on the right was a dress my sister and I wore as a baby. This was Makena's reception/luncheon dress. So this is a second generation dress that is 31 years old! Before it was washed last week - it was creamy colored. Thank goodness for soap and brought back the whiteness!
